A different CHRISTmas

I thirst for a different Christmas. I'd say I have never had a perfect Christmas. Who has anyway and what's a perfect Christmas? I used to have a beautiful imagination of how my Christmas should go but I never took a single action to make them come through. Thoughts do more. Words do much. Actions do much more.

Listening to my own advise, I started this Christmas on a good note. I looked up the meaning of advent for the first time. Advent derived from the Latin word adventus which means coming, the coming of Jesus Christ. I begun my season of advent with the gospel of Luke since it has the story of the nativity of Jesus. Every day I read a chapter of the gospel of Luke. It's not because I don't know the story of the birth of Jesus. I still remember long time ago in Bethlehem so the holy Bible say..... I embraced the one day one chapter so as to fully appreciate the totality of Jesus by Christmas Eve for a meaningful Christmas.

As I sing feliz navidad prospero ano, I remember the story of the good Samaritan reminding me to be a good neighbor not only to people I know but to strangers as well.

As I listen to the wondrous story, Christ is born in Bethlehem, glory in the highest I think about the wonders of Jesus, the mysteries surrounding His birth, when he healed the sick, fed five thousands of people with five loaves, when he raised the death and more.

With every Christmas Carol I'd appreciate the amazing voices and great skills displayed by the instrumentalists. People are truly blessed with angelic voices, you know. I can't help but to appreciate how all these make more Christmas jolly.

I tried to put smiles on people's faces in my own little way. I met my junior high school mates some of whom bore the inscription, LAST SEEN 10 YEARS AGO. Christmas has given me the opportunity to reconnect with old friends.

It's Christmas Eve and for the first time I want to believe in Santa Claus. Prayer mode activated... Dear father Christmas, would you end up at my door step tonight? Come down from the chimney father Christmas! Your daughter awaits her magical moment. Tonight my Christmas Carol remains we three kings of orient are bearing gifts we traverse afar...... 🎤Santa🎤🔊🔉📢🎺🔊please guide my Santa to thy perfect light. I remain in wonderland.

This Christmas I did not ask for a new dress neither did I ask for a new shoe. NB: that's what I used to do. There's nothing wrong with that though, I just want a different Christmas. I asked for a meaningful Christmas and I am experiencing one.

What are you doing for Christmas? Remember if you do not hear the jingle bells ring, do ring one yourself and for those around you. Enjoy the festive seasons. Joyeux Noël...Peace❤️
